So many of the heroes in the Bible were ordinary, imperfect people; despite their shortcomings, they were faithful to God. When our kids learn the stories of the Bible they learn that as God's people today - even when they make their own mistakes, even in the midst of their own darkest times - God will help, guide, and use them for good and glorious things!
Sunday School at Jefferson Prairie will follow the lectionary through materials offered by Sparkhouse.
Works
Jesus commands us to love others as ourselves.
Showing our love by helping people, near and far, empowers our kids in their own faith journeys. "God's Work Our Hands" Sundays allow families to work together to share God's love.
Family
Family can mean so many things - from parents and siblings to brothers and sisters in Christ. Positive faith modeling, in all types of families, helps kids' hearts to grow.
In the midst of the busyness and chaos of the everyday, Family Ministry Sundays will offer families time together on Sundays as well as ideas and projects that families can take home and implement together.
