Jefferson Prairie is a community of Christians centered around the Word of God. From that center, we turn outward to ministry to the local and global communities, education, and fellowship . Jefferson Prairie is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.

Our History

Founded in 1844 by Norwegian immigrants, Jefferson Prairie Lutheran Church has a rich history of 180 years, serving the neighboring northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin communities.
